MATERIALS NEEDED

• 3mm mirror acrylic in rose gold

• Masking tape

• Jewellery Stringing (we got ours here)

• Jump rings for jewellery (we got ours here)

• Laser engraver (we used our Fusion Pro 48 120w)

• Graphic design software (we run CorelDraw classes throughout the year)

Prepare your material by covering the mirrored side of the acrylic with masking tape. This will protect the mirror from getting scratched or discoloured.

We will be engraving the back of the acrylic, so that we engrave the lines on the coloured part, not on the mirrored part of the material.

You can also engrave on the mirrored side, however the lines will reflect and not shine through clearly.

Download the graphics above and import it into your graphic software. Make adjustments as necessary.

Set up your material masked facing down into the laser bed. We will be cutting out the heart mandala shape, and also engraving the pattern lines into the acrylic.

Note the print settings in the screenshot. These will depend on your laser system. Print the job!

Remove the masking tape. Get a jump ring and thread it through the hole at the top of the pendant. Ensure you close it properly.

Next, thread through your jewellery stringing. We used faux leather necklace string with the clasp already attached. All done!
