LASER ENGRAVING INSIDE OF RINGS

The personalisation of rings can be a lucrative application for a laser marking machine but without the right equipment and software it can be a risky process with variable results.

Lotus Laser Systems have laser marking equipment and software that is very well design to make this process easy, reasonably fast and with predictable, high quality results.

In this video we show µMeta laser engraving brass rings with two techniques:

1) Removing material to create some depth. This technique requires multiple passes to achieve material ablation then we follow-up with further passes to clean and brighten the engraved area

2) Marking the material to achieve contrast in the shortest possible time. With this technique there is some material ablation but there is no significant depth to the engraving.
