MATERIALS NEEDED

• 115mm x 610mm wood strips (we used our laser hardwood sheet in colour Alder)
• Laser engraver (we suggest a CO2 laser such as any from the Epilog range)
• Graphic design software (we run CorelDraw classes throughout the year)

STEP 1: PREPARE ARTWORK

We’ve prepared artwork files for you to download and get started! Click here to download.

Open the artwork files and customise as necessary to fit your material size.

You’ll notice that the artwork has been broken up to fit the long narrow strip of material.

STEP 2: SEND JOB

After you’ve altered your design, you’re ready to print! Be sure to adjust your raster and vector settings as you’ll be cutting and engraving.

Here are the settings we used for our Epilog Fusion M2 40Watt laser:

• Raster Setting – Speed 60% / Power 25%
• Vector Setting – Speed 20% / Power 90%

STEP 3: PIECE TOGETHER

Carefully pull the laser cut puzzle pieces out from the hardwood strip. You should have your puzzle pieces all ready for assembly!
