The Alfex stand was buzzing all weekend, with a particular interest in the brand-new Kern OptiFlex 100. The large table size stopped passers-by in their tracks, with lots of questions around the Kern’s metal and non- metal cutting and marking capabilities. Visitors were impressed with the speed of the OptiFlex – the HyperDual motion package really does set the standard for large format laser cutting and engraving machines. As always, Epilog’s trustworthy and quality-driven reputation brought droves of visitors to our stand. We had the Fusion M2 32 Dual Source Laser (CO2 & Fiber Laser in one) and Helix24 60w on display, cutting samples and demonstrating how the lasers can work on a variety of different materials. We even had visitors bring in their own materials to put the Epilog to the test. You really can create anything with an Epilog Laser, and our visitors were not short of application ideas!
We also had two of our Lotus Lasers on display – the Meta C1 and the Lotus Blu DC. The Meta C1 is a turn-key, high-speed laser marking and engraving workstation. The Class 1 safety enclosure allows the operation of the machine in almost any work environment. The Blu DC laser solution is ideal for price-conscious markets such as education, home business, first machine buyers and hobbyists to name just a few. Perfect for those who need a larger work area and more laser power at a lower price point. All Lotus Laser systems are designed, assembled, wired and tested in the UK.
There was much curiosity about our educational offering – Alfex Laser University, too!
